After some careless play in the Isla Iguana defense, Dé Zensen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano De Paredes. The Isla Iguana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano De Paredes should have stopped the shot. Guillermo Barrera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano De Paredes having to make a save. The supporters of JoJaEn booed when Isla Iguana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giancarlo Villalobos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Victor Carranza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isla Iguana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Carranza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dé Zensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Emiliano De Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Giancarlo Perez made the kick off in the second half. Cheito Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giancarlo Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
