Christian Henriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrés Henríguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Calito Peralta scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Henriguez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian Henriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrés Henríguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Calito Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Calito Peralta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riders on the Storm's supporters rose to their feet, but Calito Peralta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Henriguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reggie De Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Chavez having to interfere. When Hermes Ulloa came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the La Espigadilla F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermes Ulloa couldn't finish the play. Calito Peralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reggie De Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of La Espigadilla F.C. booed when Riders on the Storm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Calito Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Riders on the Storm's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Calito Peralta in the 60th minute. Christian Henriguez came out of the goal and Calito Peralta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calito Peralta struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Christian Henriguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riders on the Storm. Riders on the Storm's Calito Peralta got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christian Henriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calito Peralta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Calito Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Henriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramón Arias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Henriguez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Hermes Ulloa took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Chavez. Alex Chavez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 88th minute, Riders on the Storm's Juan Agurto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christian Henriguez. Christian Henriguez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Calito Peralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Christian Henriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrés Henríguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Agurto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Riders on the Storm left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Espigadilla F.C..
