With a couple of smart ball manuevers Totín Bultrón in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martín De Diego saved Nuevo San Juan F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Pinilla in the 20th minute of play forced Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s goalkeeper Martín De Diego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rigoberto Ramírez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio García in the 24th minute of the match. When Totín Bultrón came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Galaxy Eleven FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Totín Bultrón couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the match, Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Totín Bultrón came free, but Martín De Diego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Galaxy Eleven FC's Rigoberto Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Galaxy Eleven FC booed when Nuevo San Juan F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulpiano Muñoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s Martín De Diego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Totín Bultrón in the 41st minute of play. Martín De Diego made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Rigoberto Murillo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulpiano Muñoz in the 46th minute of play forced Galaxy Eleven FC's goalkeeper Rigoberto Ramírez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 48 minutes Galaxy Eleven FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ulpiano Muñoz who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Reinaldo Calderón managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Totín Bultrón to make the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Chavez notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s Martín De Diego. Martín De Diego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedro Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rigoberto Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A nice corner shot did that Alejandro Osorio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Martín De Diego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Antonio García fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Ramírez having to interfere. Rigoberto Ramírez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Calderón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Galaxy Eleven FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Antonio Calderón hit a great ball. Antonio García's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Rigoberto Ramírez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 78 minutes into the match, Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Murillo came free, but Martín De Diego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
