When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calito Peralta made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Riders on the Storm's zone, Totin Morris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Chavez came out of the goal and Totin Morris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calito Peralta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Carranza having to interfere. Elias Carranza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrés Henríguez in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Calito Peralta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Andrés Henríguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cheito Posam fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Silencio's protests and gave Cheito Posam a yellow card for diving instead. 91 minutes into the game, Andrés Henríguez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Elias Carranza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Riders on the Storm were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing El Silencio to leave the ground with a draw.
