With his leg Christian Henriguez managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Nuevo San Juan F.C.'s Antonio García fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the La Espigadilla F.C. defense, Antonio García kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Henriguez. The La Espigadilla F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Henriguez should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute Antonio García shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Henriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77thth minute of the game Antonio García who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Espigadilla F.C.'s Christian Henriguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Espigadilla F.C.'s zone, Antonio García stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Henriguez came out of the goal and Antonio García tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the game, Reggie De Paredes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Martín De Diego. Reggie De Paredes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Max Herrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martín De Diego having to interfere.
