Radul Kushlev made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 6thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Lorenzo Palma would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The supporters of Saravia FC booed when Río Rita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romel Pérez didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pablo Orozco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Palma made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Radul Kushlev sent off a good shot on target. Ramon Jaen hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Lorenzo Palma successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radul Kushlev got free with Lorenzo Palma in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Saravia FC's Lorenzo Palma got control of the ball when Felipe Posam tried to sneak it across the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Lorenzo Palma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 68 minutes into the match, Saravia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Radul Kushlev came free, but Lorenzo Palma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lorenzo Palma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giancarlo Escobar in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ramon Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Río Rita's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lorenzo Palma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Saravia FC defense, Radul Kushlev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Palma. The Saravia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Palma should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Giancarlo Escobar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Río Rita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giancarlo Escobar in the 94th minute of play forced Saravia FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Palma to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saravia FC's Lorenzo Palma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Posam in the 95th minute of play. Giancarlo Escobar took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Palma. Lorenzo Palma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Río Rita players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
