Spectators: 6832 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1832, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when José Amaya kicked off to start the match. A wasted opportunity for Santa Ana Arriba. 7 minutes into the match, Santa Ana Arriba's goal looked a bit too open when Reggie De Paredes came free, but Ramon Palma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Trejos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. José Amaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Trejos scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Henriguez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, La Espigadilla F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Trejos came free, but Christian Henriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, La Espigadilla F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Herrera to maneuver through the defense. Calito Palma hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. José Amaya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Trejos in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Henriguez saved La Espigadilla F.C. from getting behind. In the 40th minute Rolando Trejos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Henriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Santa Ana Arriba's Rolando Trejos in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Espigadilla F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Reggie De Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Ana Arriba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Espigadilla F.C. the free kick. The supporters of La Espigadilla F.C. booed when Santa Ana Arriba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heraclides Quintero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Santa Ana Arriba's goalkeeper Ramon Palma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hermes Ulloa. The La Espigadilla F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santa Ana Arriba were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reggie De Paredes was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Trejos might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Henriguez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolando Trejos ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Henriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Amaya in the 65th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermes Ulloa during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rolando Trejos in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christian Henriguez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Santa Ana Arriba's Rolando Trejos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. La Espigadilla F.C.'s Christian Henriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Amaya in the 73rd minute of play. José Amaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Henriguez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 75 played minutes La Espigadilla F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Max Herrera. After a defensive mix-up in La Espigadilla F.C.'s zone, Rolando Trejos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Henriguez came out of the goal and Rolando Trejos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Gil during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to La Espigadilla F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ramon Gil hit a great ball. In the 90th minute of the match, Hector Quintero got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christian Henriguez was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The La Espigadilla F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Santa Ana Arriba's performance. The match ended with a win for Santa Ana Arriba.
