A nice corner shot did that Guillermo Pimentel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lorenzo Palma quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 11 played minutes New Géminis Darién F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Bultrón. José Posam took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillermo Gonzalez. Guillermo Gonzalez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. David Zapata hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. New Géminis Darién F.C.'s Guillermo Gonzalez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save New Géminis Darién F.C. from getting a goal against them. Felix Briceño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenzo Palma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Briceño in the 28th minute of the match. A collision led to New Géminis Darién F.C. getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Elias Posam hit a great ball. Pablo Orozco might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guillermo Gonzalez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Orozco ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Zapata during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Zapata kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Guillermo Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Posam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Zapata was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. David Zapata hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Pablo Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Guillermo Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felix Briceño made a kick off. Totín Gómez hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. José Posam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Guillermo Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that José Posam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Gonzalez was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Pablo Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Guillermo Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that José Posam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guillermo Gonzalez was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Elias Posam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If José Posam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in New Géminis Darién F.C.'s zone, José Posam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Gonzalez came out of the goal and José Posam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Milton Mora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Gonzalez having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Saravia FC fully deserved thier win.
