The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Amaya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Matias De Paredes suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 51 minutes, José Amaya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Ana Arriba and the Atletico Nacional players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Santa Ana Arriba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Palma should have stopped the shot. Ramon Palma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Trejos, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Reggie Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atletico Nacional had played much better football throughout.
