Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Calito Peralta started the match with the kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Calito Peralta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riders on the Storm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calito Peralta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Andrés Henríguez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juan Agurto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the game, Calito Gutierrez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galaxy Eleven FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riders on the Storm the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Totín Bultrón in the 24th minute of play forced Riders on the Storm's goalkeeper Alex Chavez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrés Henríguez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rigoberto Ramírez having to make a save. Pedro Pinilla hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Orlando Vergara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riders on the Storm's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Vergara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Ramírez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Totín Bultrón to strike the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Osorio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Calito Peralta came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Riders on the Storm fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calito Peralta couldn't finish the play. Calito Peralta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 63 played minutes Galaxy Eleven FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Osorio. In the 68th match minute, Galaxy Eleven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Murillo to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Vergara struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Rigoberto Ramírez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riders on the Storm. In the 77th minute Calito Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Ramírez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riders on the Storm were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Galaxy Eleven FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Calito Peralta took the corner. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galaxy Eleven FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Calito Peralta was slow to take the kick. During this time Riders on the Storm's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Calito Peralta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Galaxy Eleven FC's Rigoberto Ramírez did a great save. Rigoberto Ramírez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrés Henríguez in the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Riders on the Storm's zone, Rigoberto Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Chavez came out of the goal and Rigoberto Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the match, Totín Bultrón dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alex Chavez, 0-1. When the final whistle went the supporters of Galaxy Eleven FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Riders on the Storm side.
