Elias Carranza came out and tried to block the shot, but Guillermo Barrera slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Dé Zensen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. JoJaEn's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Heraclides Ríos managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Silencio's supporters rose to their feet, but Heraclides Ríos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cheito Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cheito Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomaso Cedeño in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Totin Morris in the 27th minute of play forced JoJaEn's goalkeeper Cheito Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Monchi Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, El Silencio's goalkeeper Elias Carranza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dé Zensen. Guillermo Barrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for JoJaEn! Totin Morris struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Cheito Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Silencio. In the 40th play minute Dé Zensen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elias Carranza. 2-1. Dé Zensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Carranza having to interfere. Elias Carranza was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Lucho Trejos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucho Trejos really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Totin Morris to make the kick off. After some careless play in the El Silencio defense, Dé Zensen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Carranza. The El Silencio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Carranza should have stopped the shot. Lucho Trejos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Elias Carranza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, David Cedeño managed to get in a good position for a shot. JoJaEn's supporters rose to their feet, but David Cedeño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Carranza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias Carranza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Barrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 64 minutes into the match, Lucho Trejos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elias Carranza. El Silencio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucho Trejos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After a defensive mix-up in El Silencio's zone, Dé Zensen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Carranza came out of the goal and Dé Zensen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Lucho Trejos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elias Carranza was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Guillermo Barrera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elias Carranza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucho Trejos in the 76th minute of play. Cheito Mota made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Monchi Herrera sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th match minute, El Silencio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Quiros to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, JoJaEn's goalkeeper Cheito Mota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Totin Morris. Dé Zensen scored 6-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elias Carranza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucho Trejos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Carranza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Guillermo Barrera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elias Carranza was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Dé Zensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the JoJaEn players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
