The supporters of Boquerón booed when Bajo Boquete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monchi Moscoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucho Peralta, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Boquerón's Jose Herbruger got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuel Amaya hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Monchi Moscoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucho Peralta's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Monchi Moscoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Paredes went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Pinilla in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Monchi Moscoso saved Bajo Boquete from getting behind. Monchi Moscoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Paredes in the 29th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucho Peralta to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Boquerón got a freekick which was hit by Luis Pinilla. Beto Villarreal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luis Gil. Boquerón's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jose Herbruger might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Monchi Moscoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jose Herbruger ran back to his position shaking his head. Jose Herbruger's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Monchi Moscoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bajo Boquete's Monchi Moscoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucho Peralta in the 57th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Emanuel Amaya notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Boquerón's Luis Gil. Luis Gil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luis Gil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Morris, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 68th minute, Jose Herbruger fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Moisés Ríos's late challenge caught a Bajo Boquete's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bajo Boquete's Monchi Moscoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Bajo Boquete from getting a goal against them. Jaime Morris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Gil having to interfere. Gustavo Murillo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Gil. Luis Gil dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Felix Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boquerón's Luis Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Morris in the 84th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Lucho Peralta took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Monchi Moscoso to make any attempt to save it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
