In the 11th minute, Rio Hato FC's Juan Mota ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luis Gil. Luis Gil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 14 minutes into the game, Juan Mota recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luis Gil. Juan Mota showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 19 minutes of play, Boquerón's Jose Herbruger made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastián Treviño was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Moisés Ríos notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Rio Hato FC's Sebastián Treviño. Sebastián Treviño was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 26 played minutes Rio Hato FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro González. After some careless play in the Boquerón defense, Gilberto Ramirez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Gil. The Boquerón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Gil should have stopped the shot. After 31 minutes, Totin Gomez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rio Hato FC and the Boquerón players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st match minute, Rio Hato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Totin Gomez to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Totin Gomez got free with Luis Gil in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 43 minutes into the match, Rio Hato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Paredes came free, but Sebastián Treviño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Gilberto Ramirez made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Boquerón's Beto Villalobos got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 54th minute, Luis Paredes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolando González lost his temper 63 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Boquerón a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lucho Peralta, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rio Hato FC's Sebastián Treviño. 4-3. A collision led to Boquerón getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Moisés Ríos hit a great ball. Boquerón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rio Hato FC the free kick. Moisés Ríos kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 82 minutes, Jose Herbruger made it 4-4 with a short kick to the right side. Rio Hato FC's Sebastián Treviño tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Romel Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
