Sergio Torrijos scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Orlando Herbruger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dolega F.C.! In the 11th minute there was a penalty for David FC. Rafael Tijero stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Orlando Herbruger. 2-0. Sergio Torrijos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Herbruger having to interfere. A collision led to Dolega F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. José Escobar hit a great ball. Orlando Herbruger made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Sergio Torrijos sent off a good shot on target. Dolega F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Sebastián Herbruger scored to the left of an out of position Orlando Herbruger, making the score, 3-0. Jorge Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Orlando Herbruger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Carrillo in the 28th minute of play forced David FC's goalkeeper Pablo Quintero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes David FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Ramos. The supporters of Dolega F.C. booed when David FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heraclides Tijero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Agurto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Quintero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Ramirez in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando Herbruger saved Dolega F.C. from getting behind. 42 minutes into the game, Tomás Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Orlando Herbruger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 46 minutes into the match, David FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Carrillo came free, but Pablo Quintero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Dolega F.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Reinaldo Caballero hit a great ball. Sergio Torrijos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Herbruger having to interfere. In the 54thth minute of the game Jorge Ramirez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dolega F.C.'s Orlando Herbruger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 64 played minutes Dolega F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Andrés Escalona. With 66 minutes on the clock, Carlos Ramos commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in David FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Dolega F.C.. Gilberto Agurto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pablo Quintero. 4-1. Reggie Quintero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Carrillo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. A collision led to Dolega F.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Jaime Murillo hit a great ball. Reggie Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Orlando Herbruger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Andrés Escalona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pablo Quintero. That made the score 4-2 in the 83 minute of play. If Jorge Ramirez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastián Herbruger's late challenge caught a Dolega F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastián Herbruger helped the player get up and apologised. Pablo Quintero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Carrillo in the 93rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Dolega F.C.'s zone, Sebastián Herbruger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Herbruger came out of the goal and Sebastián Herbruger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 96 minutes into the game, Jorge Ramirez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Orlando Herbruger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
