The supporters of Bajo Boquete booed when Finca Blanco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Tello didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Finca Blanco's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Murillo came free, but David Agurto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bajo Boquete's zone, Moisés Herbruger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Monchi Moscoso came out of the goal and Moisés Herbruger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Morris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gustavo Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. David Agurto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bajo Boquete's Jaime Morris got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Felix Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, Jaime Morris recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of David Agurto. Jaime Morris showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. When Matias Tello fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Finca Blanco's protests and gave Matias Tello a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Finca Blanco's Matias Tello got a free kick in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gustavo Murillo could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which David Agurto however easily saved by the left post. After 73 played minutes Bajo Boquete got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Amaya. Finca Blanco's Américo Fernández couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bajo Boquete. Jaime Morris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Agurto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Gustavo Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. David Agurto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Agurto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Morris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Agurto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Morris, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Alex Tello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monchi Moscoso having to interfere. The Bajo Boquete supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bajo Boquete would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
