The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Tor-Andre Vatle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Edmondo Barresi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tor-Andre Vatle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Rio Hato FC's zone, Eusebio Idacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastián Treviño came out of the goal and Eusebio Idacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Salvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Finca Corredor F.C.'s Tor-Andre Vatle got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Ulloa during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lindar Palmberg shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Aureliano Salvino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Ramirez in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Finca Corredor F.C. defense, Totin Gomez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliano Salvino. The Finca Corredor F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliano Salvino should have stopped the shot. Totin Gomez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Aureliano Salvino made a huge save. Aureliano Salvino made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Gilberto Ulloa sent off a good shot on target. The Rio Hato FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
