The referee ignored Penonomé F.C.'s protests and gave Jaime Paredes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of PanamaCityPC booed when Penonomé F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. PanamaCityPC's Alexis Amaya got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Treviño's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Gómez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Jaime Paredes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tomaso Amaya. Jaime Paredes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Franklin Paredes during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Penonomé F.C.'s Franklin Paredes got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Ivan Garcia De Paredes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Gómez having to interfere. David Gómez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Toledano, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Alexis Amaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Gómez. Penonomé F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexis Amaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Garcia De Paredes to make the kick off. Pedro Treviño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Penonomé F.C.'s David Gómez got control of the ball when Ivan Garcia De Paredes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Penonomé F.C.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Ivan Garcia De Paredes scored to the left of an out of position David Gómez, making the score, 1-2. PanamaCityPC's Alexis Amaya got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Paredes in the 72nd minute of play forced PanamaCityPC's goalkeeper Tomaso Amaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Ivan Garcia De Paredes sped through Penonomé F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Gómez. Alexis Amaya struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. David Gómez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PanamaCityPC. Ivan Garcia De Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. David Gómez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, David Gómez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pedro Treviño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Gómez having to make a save. The supporters of Penonomé F.C. booed when PanamaCityPC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Garcia De Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Eloy Treviño hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Tomaso Amaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Paredes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Penonomé F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PanamaCityPC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
