Tomaso Amaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Morris in the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, PanamaCityPC's Ivan Garcia De Paredes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Peren. José Peren yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Eloy Treviño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Ivan Garcia De Paredes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Marcos Toledano managed to get in a good position for a shot. PanamaCityPC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Toledano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Peren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomaso Amaya came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Algarrobos's Felix Barrera. But to his dismay, Felix Barrera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. José Peren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Garcia De Paredes in the 46th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 48th minute of the game. One of PanamaCityPC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Algarrobos:s goal. The referee gave Los Algarrobos a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Moscoso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PanamaCityPC's Tomaso Amaya. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raul Morris to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Treviño scored 2-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Peren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milton Treviño in the 85th minute of play forced PanamaCityPC's goalkeeper Tomaso Amaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, PanamaCityPC's Romel Ulloa got a free kick in the 87th minute. José Peren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Treviño, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. PanamaCityPC were furious when Romel Ulloa was red carded, 98 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.
