Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Los Algarrobos's Raul Morris started the match with a crisp pass. But to his dismay, Milton Treviño quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 24 played minutes Penonomé F.C. got a freekick which was hit by José Rios. Los Algarrobos's Carlos Moscoso shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 25th minute of play. The shot was stopped by David Gómez but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Penonomé F.C.'s David Gómez got control of the ball when Edgardo Morris tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Jaime Paredes notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Los Algarrobos's José Peren. José Peren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Paredes to make the kick off. Raul Morris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Gómez having to interfere. When Edgardo Morris came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Los Algarrobos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Morris couldn't finish the play.
