Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Paredes started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Pablo Carrillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boquerón F.C. and the Penonomé F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pablo Carrillo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Juan Quintero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boquerón F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Quintero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Gómez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22ndth minute of the game Beto Arauz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boquerón F.C.'s Reinaldo Brandao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beto Arauz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pablo Carrillo got his second yellow card in the match during the 25th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Pablo Carrillo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Penonomé F.C.'s Beto Arauz in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boquerón F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. 32 minutes into the match, Juan Quintero notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Penonomé F.C.'s David Gómez. David Gómez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute, Juan Quintero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Juan Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boquerón F.C.'s Reinaldo Brandao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Paredes in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Rolando Amaya was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boquerón F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Penonomé F.C. the free kick. After 46 played minutes Boquerón F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Amaya. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Quintero made a kick off. Edgardo Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Gómez having to interfere. After 57 played minutes Boquerón F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Amaya. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Beto Arauz took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Reinaldo Brandao to make any attempt to save it. 63 minutes into the game, Romel Mora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. David Gómez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 70 minutes into the match, Romel Mora notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Penonomé F.C.'s David Gómez. David Gómez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mario Villalaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beto Arauz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Reinaldo Brandao made a huge save. After having played for 86 minutes, Romel Mora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boquerón F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Romel Mora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Mario Villalaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Beto Arauz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Boquerón F.C. were the better team. Boquerón F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
