Luchito Corral struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. José Peren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Senorbac Jr.. Totin Benavides hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Fernando Garcia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Morris, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Los Algarrobos's Raul Morris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fernando Garcia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Senorbac Jr.'s zone, Raul Morris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Garcia came out of the goal and Raul Morris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Morris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fernando Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernando Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Morris in the 37th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Senorbac Jr.'s zone, Raul Morris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Garcia came out of the goal and Raul Morris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Raul Morris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Algarrobos's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Morris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernando Garcia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Raul Morris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luchito Corral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. José Peren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Senorbac Jr. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Algarrobos were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luchito Corral to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Los Algarrobos's zone, Agustin Aizprua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Peren came out of the goal and Agustin Aizprua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Senorbac Jr.'s Fernando Garcia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Morris in the 54th minute of play. Fernando Garcia came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Algarrobos's Edgardo Morris. But to his dismay, Edgardo Morris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 59 minutes, Juan Jaen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senorbac Jr. and the Los Algarrobos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Senorbac Jr.'s Juan Jaen got a free kick in the 59th minute. The supporters of Los Algarrobos booed when Senorbac Jr. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolás Posam didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, Senorbac Jr. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Totin Benavides to maneuver through the defense. Raul Morris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Fernando Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Milton Treviño kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Raul Morris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Garcia having to interfere. With a little luck, Senorbac Jr.'s Fernando Garcia got control of the ball when Edgardo Morris tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Raul Morris kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Garcia. That made the score 0-3 in the 87 minute of play. Luchito Corral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Edgardo Morris came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Los Algarrobos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Morris couldn't finish the play. Los Algarrobos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
