Spectators: 7550 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Miguel Alfaro took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Vista Alegre booed when Sporting Panamá FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Spadafora didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Carranza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th match minute, Vista Alegre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Morris to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Alexis Ramírez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Américo Briceño was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luis Morris kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Gustavo Aizprua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Spadafora in the 17th minute. With 20 minutes on the clock, Giancarlo Pinilla commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Gustavo Aizprua made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Enrique Spadafora sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Bultrón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sporting Panamá FC's Alexander Bultrón got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute Alexis Ramírez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Briceño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leonidas Arauz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Enrique Spadafora recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustavo Aizprua. Enrique Spadafora showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 56 minutes, Alexis Ramírez made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Sporting Panamá FC's Américo Briceño tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Carranza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Gustavo Aizprua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Miguel Alfaro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Aizprua. Vista Alegre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Alfaro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. After 78 minutes of play, Vista Alegre's Alexis Ramírez made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Américo Briceño was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustavo Aizprua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Miguel Alfaro's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. When Agustin Calderón fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vista Alegre's protests and gave Agustin Calderón a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vista Alegre getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Agustin Calderón hit a great ball. Sporting Panamá FC's Enrique Spadafora got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the game, Franklin Peralta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vista Alegre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Panamá FC the free kick. Enrique Spadafora struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gustavo Aizprua didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Panamá FC. In the 90th minute Miguel Alfaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Aizprua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Sporting Panamá FC's Miguel Alfaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustavo Aizprua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Sporting Panamá FC got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Spadafora. When the final whistle went the supporters of Vista Alegre were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Sporting Panamá FC side.
