A collision led to C.A.ANCON getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Orlando Perez hit a great ball. C.A.ANCON's Miguel Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Fernández in the 4th minute of play. Eduardo Martini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 6th minute, Cesar Palma made a precise shot to the right of Eduardo Martini. Atalaya's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Atalaya's zone, Cesar Palma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Martini came out of the goal and Cesar Palma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pablo Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Atalaya's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Palma came free, but Eduardo Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A.ANCON's Miguel Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save C.A.ANCON from getting a goal against them. 22 minutes into the match, Atalaya's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Palma came free, but Eduardo Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Fernandez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tanek Kolbert in the 26th minute. After 32 played minutes C.A.ANCON got a freekick which was hit by José Centella. When Franklin Fernández came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Atalaya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franklin Fernández couldn't finish the play. Orlando Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.A.ANCON's Miguel Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Fernández in the 39th minute of play. Cesar Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tanek Kolbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Paredes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Tanek Kolbert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atalaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Tanek Kolbert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cesar Palma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Paredes's late challenge caught a C.A.ANCON's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pablo Paredes helped the player get up and apologised. Pablo Paredes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Pablo Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atalaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Paredes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Franklin Fernández sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 66 minutes into the match, Atalaya's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Bermudez came free, but Eduardo Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atalaya's zone, Cesar Palma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Martini came out of the goal and Cesar Palma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Julio Bermudez fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.ANCON's protests and gave Julio Bermudez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Julio Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tanek Kolbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Atalaya's Jaime Perez got a free kick in the 76th minute. Julio Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Julio Bermudez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. In the 83rd match minute, C.A.ANCON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. If Franklin Fernández had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Paredes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Miguel Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
