C.A.ANCON's Cesar Palma got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Real Panama CF getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Andres Orozco hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Cesar Palma notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Real Panama CF's Fabio Paredes. Fabio Paredes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cesar Palma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reggie Herrera during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of C.A.ANCON booed when Real Panama CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reggie Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in C.A.ANCON's zone, Nicolás García stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Fernandez came out of the goal and Nicolás García tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Bermudez hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Miguel Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillermo Arauz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Paredes having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Palma to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Real Panama CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Jaen to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Bermudez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabio Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Palma in the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, C.A.ANCON was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Perez to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás García, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillermo Arauz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miguel Fernandez having to make a save. In the 81st match minute, Real Panama CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reggie Herrera to maneuver through the defense. Real Panama CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolás García was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orlando Perez did an outstanding performance 95 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 3-0 to the right of an irritated Fabio Paredes in the goal. There was no doubt that C.A.ANCON were the better team. C.A.ANCON's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
