The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Azael Oberto helped the player get up and apologised. Ožbej Matos took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Aizprua. Pedro Aizprua dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Pedro Aizprua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azael Villarreal in the 17th minute of play. Ožbej Matos scored 2-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Aizprua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Aizprua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Herbruger in the 22nd minute of play. Azael Oberto hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Pedro Aizprua was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Herbruger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. In the 30th minute, Azael Villarreal made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Aizprua. Garachiné's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Pedro Aizprua made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ožbej Matos sent off a good shot on target. Reggie Corral kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Garachiné getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jonathan Ríos hit a great ball. Azael Oberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st match minute, Colón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Mendieta to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Garachiné's goalkeeper Pedro Aizprua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ožbej Matos. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toto Garcia to make the kick off. Azael Villarreal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Aizprua having to interfere. A collision led to Colón getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Luis Mendieta hit a great ball. Pedro Aizprua came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Colón's Juan Herbruger. But to his dismay, Juan Herbruger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 64th minute Azael Villarreal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Aizprua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azael González received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Romel Zapata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romel Zapata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toto Garcia in the 70th minute of the match. Pedro Aizprua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azael Villarreal in the 72nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Colón's Romel Zapata got control of the ball when Azael Oberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Azael González fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Garachiné's Pedro Aizprua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ožbej Matos in the 93rd minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Colón fully deserved thier win.
