Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ožbej Matos got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th play minute Ožbej Matos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ricardo Arias. 1-0. Romel Zapata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Spadafora, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Colón's Romel Zapata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Spadafora in the 11th minute of play. Ricardo Arias came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Colón's Ožbej Matos. But to his dismay, Ožbej Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Ricardo Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azael Villarreal in the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Cedeño in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romel Zapata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gilberto Agurto hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Romel Zapata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Spadafora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Colón's zone, Max Cedeño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romel Zapata came out of the goal and Max Cedeño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Colón F.C. booed when Colón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Herbruger didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gilberto Agurto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Colón F.C.'s Alexis Henríguez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ožbej Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ricardo Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Romel Zapata had in the 56thth minute some difficulties stopping Luchito Arauz's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Joe Navarro kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Colón F.C.'s Ricardo Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ožbej Matos in the 59th minute of play. 64 minutes in the game, Max Spadafora fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Romel Zapata having to interfere. Max Cedeño kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Alexis Henríguez put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Colón F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Ožbej Matos took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Arias. Ricardo Arias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1.
