The DREAN TEAM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tiso Villela might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romel Zapata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiso Villela ran back to his position shaking his head. 11 minutes into the match, Xano Horduña had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romel Zapata. Colón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xano Horduña was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The supporters of DREAN TEAM booed when Colón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomaso Posam didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute, Juan Herbruger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Tiso Villela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romel Zapata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ožbej Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Posam having to interfere. Xano Horduña struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Romel Zapata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DREAN TEAM. 36 minutes into the match, Colón's goal looked a bit too open when Tiso Villela came free, but Romel Zapata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 40 minutes, Roberto Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DREAN TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roberto Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th match minute, Colón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Mendieta to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Xano Horduña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half DREAN TEAM were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiso Villela made a kick off. A collision led to Colón getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Luis Mendieta hit a great ball. After 54 minutes Colón's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jonathan Diaz who took care of the corner kick. At last the ball reached Roberto Silva at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Colón. 0-3. Colón's Romel Zapata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Colón from getting a goal against them. Felipe Posam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Herbruger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tiso Villela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xano Horduña scored 0-5 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Romel Zapata, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Tiso Villela managed to get in a good position for a shot. DREAN TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiso Villela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romel Zapata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Roberto Silva fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DREAN TEAM's protests and gave Roberto Silva a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, DREAN TEAM's Roberto Silva got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Reggie Corral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. DREAN TEAM played a much better game than Colón and deserved their victory. The Colón players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
