Zühtü Gelenbe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jose Henríguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, OSO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Espino to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Yao Mo Qi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Gómez. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Gómez should have stopped the shot. Francesco Benavides's late challenge caught a OSO F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francesco Benavides helped the player get up and apologised. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romel Peren to strike the kick off in the second half. Jaime Gómez came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by OSO F.C.'s Rigoberto Gomez. But to his dismay, Rigoberto Gomez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. 60 minutes into the game, OSO F.C.'s Yao Mo Qi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Gómez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind OSO F.C.'s goalkeeper Jose Henríguez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Jaime Gómez got control of the ball when Rigoberto Gomez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Francesco Benavides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 75 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Morris.
