Toto Pinilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Rafael Ramos made a huge save. In the 5th play minute Pedro Villalaz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rafael Ramos. 1-0. Pedro Villalaz struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Rafael Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ORION F.C.. After 11 played minutes ORION F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Orozco. Rafael Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Villalaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Pedro Villalaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Ramos was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the game, Pedro Villalaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rafael Ramos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 24 minutes into the match, ORION F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Donattello Ogazón came free, but Dadhyan Rudrappa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Villalaz took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Ramos. Rafael Ramos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Rafael Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Villalaz in the 28th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, ORION F.C.'s Pedro Villalaz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Villalaz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rafael Ramos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Dadhyan Rudrappa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charly Tevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Villalaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Ramos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Villalaz ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Villalaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Francesco Carrillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Villalaz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Tarcisio Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dadhyan Rudrappa was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

After 50 played minutes Veracruz F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Naw Kean. In the 51stth minute of the game Pedro Villalaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veracruz F.C.'s Rafael Ramos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner led ORION F.C.'s Dé Santos to fire away a dangerous shot which Rafael Ramos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Veracruz F.C. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Naw Kean hit a great ball. In the 57th minute of the match Dé Santos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rafael Ramos skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Pedro Villalaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. ORION F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Villalaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tarcisio Luz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Dadhyan Rudrappa made a huge save. 65 minutes into the game, ORION F.C.'s Pedro Villalaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rafael Ramos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. ORION F.C. made a substitution. Franklin Agurto replaced Toto Pinilla. 70 minutes into the game, Max Moscoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Veracruz F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ORION F.C. the free kick. Veracruz F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mikail Savgat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikail Savgat in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rafael Ramos saved Veracruz F.C. from getting behind. ORION F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
