Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Escobar to make the kick off. Juan Benavides came out of the goal and André-Pierre Gignac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André-Pierre Gignac in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Ziya Di Maria notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides. Juan Benavides was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juan Benavides came out of the goal and Christian Castillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juan Benavides came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Buenaventura FC's Walter Bock. But to his dismay, Walter Bock quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 85thth minute of the game André-Pierre Gignac who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Humberto Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Eduardo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Juan Benavides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziya Di Maria in the 88th minute of play. Ziya Di Maria didn't quite understand what happened when in the 95 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Buenaventura FC fully deserved thier win.
