Pablo Menendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zoilo Perea having to interfere. Pablo Menendez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Zoilo Perea made a huge save. After having played for 27 minutes, Zavior Deza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GUAYAS F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zavior Deza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Udalaitz Bobis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quiñónez Villadiego. GUAYAS F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Udalaitz Bobis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 33 played minutes Chaya SC got a freekick which was hit by Zayvion Conde. If Zavior Deza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pablo Menendez came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the GUAYAS F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Menendez couldn't finish the play. If Xabat Orense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. GUAYAS F.C's Quiñónez Villadiego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Udalaitz Bobis in the 44th minute of play.
