Xavier Pedronera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Aquino having to interfere. Alejandro Obiaga kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Sergio Torrienta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romo Serrano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Aquino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Pedronera in the 21st minute of play. Franco Resto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Marcelino Aquino made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Pedronera in the 23rd minute of play forced Tardal FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Aquino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xavier Pedronera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Urritz Tijerina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romo Serrano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Mir in the 30th minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Ivan Muñoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tardal FC and the Inter de Guayaquil SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ivan Muñoa kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Marcelino Aquino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urritz Tijerina, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Franco Resto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de Guayaquil SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franco Resto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xavier Pedronera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes in the game, Xavier Pedronera fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcelino Aquino having to interfere. Marcelino Aquino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urritz Tijerina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Aquino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franco Resto in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Xavier Pedronera made a precise shot to the right of Marcelino Aquino. Tardal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urritz Tijerina to strike the kick off in the second half. Xavier Pedronera struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Marcelino Aquino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Guayaquil SC. Marcelino Aquino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Inter de Guayaquil SC were the better team. Inter de Guayaquil SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
