After some careless play in the Barcelona S.C defense, Segio Elenes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Marines. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Segio Elenes was the one to do the kick off. L.D.U de Quito's supporters rose to their feet, but Cordero Corcoba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. With a little luck, Barcelona S.C's Fernando Marines got control of the ball when Ximenez Sauca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hurtado Herbon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Arreguia in the 98th minute of the match. 100 minutes into the game, Cordero Corcoba recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Marines. Cordero Corcoba showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. The Barcelona S.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. L.D.U de Quito were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
