Spectators: 6038 (Terracing: 4250, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 125) After 3 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Celso Bodega. 4 minutes into the match, UD Nobol's Mario Cadiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alessandro Villafane narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Klimowitz Clavijo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Escobar Morodo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ecuador's Alessandro Villafane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Pison in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Cadiz in the 9th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Alessandro Villafane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Umea Santander came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umea Santander couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the match, Calderón PujarµN had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alessandro Villafane. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calderón PujarµN was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Alessandro Villafane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calderón PujarµN, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klimowitz Clavijo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Roman Pison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Villafane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Villafane came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Nobol's Calderón PujarµN. But to his dismay, Calderón PujarµN quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Escobar Morodo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeruko Rua, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the game, Arévalo Azcaraso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UD Nobol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in UD Nobol fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Escobar Morodo, was totally fooled by Ecuador's Klimowitz Clavijo, who 37 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Calderón PujarµN took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alessandro Villafane. Alessandro Villafane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After the first half UD Nobol were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klimowitz Clavijo to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Mario Cadiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Villafane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Klimowitz Clavijo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alessandro Villafane was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Calderón PujarµN capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Calderón PujarµN really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. When Roberto Mesia fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Nobol's protests and gave Roberto Mesia a yellow card for diving instead. Alessandro Villafane came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Nobol's Mario Cadiz. But to his dismay, Mario Cadiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 62nd match minute, UD Nobol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Mesia to maneuver through the defense. If Mario Cadiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes of play, Ecuador's Umea Santander made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Escobar Morodo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 77 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Cadiz came free, but Alessandro Villafane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ugutz Maneiro took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Escobar Morodo. Escobar Morodo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. Alessandro Villafane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Bribiesca in the 87th minute of the match. Klimowitz Clavijo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Alessandro Villafane had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roman Pison. Escobar Morodo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ugutz Maneiro's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klimowitz Clavijo in the 95th minute of play forced UD Nobol's goalkeeper Escobar Morodo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The UD Nobol players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
