Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hegel's Velasco Sufiria started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Gilmar Ontaneda came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Jumpiran SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilmar Ontaneda couldn't finish the play. Rogelio Chirghentino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Boher in the 17th minute of the match. Rogelio Chirghentino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Boher in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Jumpiran SC booed when Hegel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Armida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Chirghentino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Boher's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Jairo Boher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rogelio Chirghentino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Jumpiran SC got a freekick which was hit by Urtsin Alen. Rogelio Chirghentino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Boher in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44thth minute of the game Jairo Boher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hegel's Rogelio Chirghentino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jairo Boher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rogelio Chirghentino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Boher might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogelio Chirghentino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Boher ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Boher to make the kick off. Rogelio Chirghentino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Ontaneda in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Gilmar Ontaneda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Chirghentino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jairo Boher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ordonez Eraña kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Velasco Sufiria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilmar Ontaneda in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogelio Chirghentino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jumpiran SC's Jairo Boher in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hegel's goalie prevented a goal. In the 83rd match minute, Jumpiran SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Duarte Villandiego to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the match, Hegel's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Ontaneda came free, but Rogelio Chirghentino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Lisandro Arrascarate was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hegel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jumpiran SC the free kick. After 89 played minutes Hegel got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Arrascarate. Fidel Chacon hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Hegel's Marco Armida got a free kick in the 98th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jumpiran SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hegel had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
