Lopez Carlos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Viz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximo Fariñada was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Maximiliano Cediel scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximo Fariñada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximo Fariñada was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute Vedillo Bendigar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lorenzo Apodaca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ximenez Campon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lorenzo Apodaca. UD Iguanas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 25th minute, UD Razuyacu's Vedillo Bendigar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. 31 minutes into the match, UD Iguanas's goal looked a bit too open when Vedillo Bendigar came free, but Lorenzo Apodaca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximo Fariñada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Cediel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Maximiliano Cediel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Iguanas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Maximo Fariñada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Weather Sotres in the 45th minute of play. Alvaro Viz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Maximo Fariñada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vedillo Bendigar was the one to do the kick off. Vedillo Bendigar took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lorenzo Apodaca. Lorenzo Apodaca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After 60 played minutes UD Razuyacu got a freekick which was hit by Vedillo Bendigar. UD Razuyacu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Maximiliano Cediel scored to the left of an out of position Maximo Fariñada, making the score, 2-4. UD Razuyacu's Maximo Fariñada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Cediel in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, UD Razuyacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Ramos to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Cediel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maximo Fariñada, 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vedillo Bendigar in the 79th minute of play forced UD Iguanas's goalkeeper Lorenzo Apodaca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lopez Carlos kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Alvaro Viz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The UD Iguanas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. UD Razuyacu's Maximo Fariñada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diaz Prada in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as UD Iguanas's Maximiliano Cediel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maximo Fariñada. That made the score 2-8 after 95 minutes of play. The UD Razuyacu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. UD Iguanas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
