Spectators: 6687 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 0) When Pedro Picardo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Charapoto SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Picardo couldn't finish the play. Armando Pozuelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noriega Angostina, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Pedro Picardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Armando Pozuelos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Pozuelos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Picardo's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Rosero Reve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Milagro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Charapoto SC the free kick. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CD Milagro! Paredes Alamos walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xeromo Orduña during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armando Pozuelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noriega Angostina in the 19th minute of play. CD Milagro's Xeromo Orduña got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Charapoto SC's zone, Xeromo Orduña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justavino Aya came out of the goal and Xeromo Orduña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 minutes of play, CD Milagro's Xeromo Orduña made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Justavino Aya was left in no man's land by his defense there! Noriega Angostina might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Pozuelos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noriega Angostina ran back to his position shaking his head. Fortunato Tofino hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. A hard shot 41 in the game by Xeromo Orduña from a close distance when the talented Justavino Aya managed to make a qualified save. Charapoto SC's players were relieved. After 42 minutes, Mauricio Antequera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charapoto SC and the CD Milagro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Mauricio Antequera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Jairo Urquiaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Justavino Aya was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Armando Pozuelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Picardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noriega Angostina to strike the kick off in the second half. If Pedro Picardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noriega Angostina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Pozuelos having to interfere. Xayvion Cañucar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Justavino Aya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justavino Aya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Urquiaga in the 62nd minute of the match. Pedro Picardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Armando Pozuelos made a huge save. Xayvion Cañucar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justavino Aya having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CD Milagro's Xayvion Cañucar got a free kick in the 71st minute. Xeromo Orduña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Justavino Aya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Urquiaga in the 76th minute of play forced Charapoto SC's goalkeeper Justavino Aya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justavino Aya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xeromo Orduña, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Charapoto SC's Justavino Aya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xeromo Orduña in the 82nd minute of play. In the 87th minute, Baldeón Sodupe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justavino Aya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xeromo Orduña in the 101st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. CD Milagro had won after a very even match.
