Valery Aledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urtsin Ubierna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Guamán Joli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valery Aledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Platanales's Veto Riero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Presilla. Julio Presilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Platanales's zone, Guerrón Bonifaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valery Aledo came out of the goal and Guerrón Bonifaz tried to chip the ball over his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Veto Riero made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Veto Riero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
