The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, UD Callancay's Cruz Cañete got control of the ball when Luis Valencia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Valencia got free with Cruz Cañete in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, Dionysis Vogiaris recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cruz Cañete. Dionysis Vogiaris showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Luis Valencia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cruz Cañete. That made the score 2-0 in the 15 minute of play. Cruz Cañete made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Luis Valencia sent off a good shot on target. UD Callancay's Cruz Cañete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionysis Vogiaris in the 22nd minute of play. Batista Muriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Font, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Luis Valencia made a precise shot to the right of Cruz Cañete. There was no doubt that UD Nutty were the better team. UD Nutty's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
