The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Delante FC. When Marco Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Club Deportivo Puyaburo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Loyola couldn't finish the play. 16 minutes into the match, Delante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quiñónez Lezarazo came free, but Trivniño Caceo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zayveon Cachurro struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Trivniño Caceo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Deportivo Puyaburo. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Sergio Laorden successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 90 minutes, Quiñónez Lezarazo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Puyaburo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quiñónez Lezarazo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Delante FC's zone, Marco Loyola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trivniño Caceo came out of the goal and Marco Loyola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Club Deportivo Puyaburo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Delante FC throughout the match.
