After 5 played minutes Narcorc got a freekick which was hit by Klimowicz Felix. 8 minutes in the game, Claudio Pumar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Patricio Prada having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Quintana Bonal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Narcorc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quintana Bonal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Narcorc's Claudio Pumar in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SOCIEDAD DEPORTIVO QUITO's goalie prevented a goal. Polo Munguira's late challenge caught a Narcorc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Polo Munguira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Polo Munguira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Patricio Prada managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Narcorc's Quintana Bonal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Polo Munguira kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. SOCIEDAD DEPORTIVO QUITO's Patricio Prada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Pumar in the 25th minute of play. Quintana Bonal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Patricio Prada skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 33rd minute of the match, Claudio Pumar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Patricio Prada saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A hard shot by Klimowicz Felix from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Patricio Prada's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 35 minutes, Celso Domaquia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SOCIEDAD DEPORTIVO QUITO and the Narcorc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Celso Domaquia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Prada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Pumar in the 37th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudio Pumar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patricio Prada. That made the score 1-0 in the 48 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Quintana Bonal was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Claudio Pumar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patricio Prada. SOCIEDAD DEPORTIVO QUITO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Pumar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. SOCIEDAD DEPORTIVO QUITO's Polo Munguira got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Polo Munguira off the ground. After 60 played minutes SOCIEDAD DEPORTIVO QUITO got a freekick which was hit by Polo Munguira. 61 minutes into the game, Narcorc's Quintana Bonal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patricio Prada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Patricio Prada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Quintana Bonal in the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Pumar in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Prada prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the match, SOCIEDAD DEPORTIVO QUITO's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Pumar came free, but Patricio Prada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Narcorc's Quintana Bonal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patricio Prada made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 77th minute Claudio Pumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Prada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SOCIEDAD DEPORTIVO QUITO's Celso Domaquia got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Celso Domaquia off the ground. Narcorc's Claudio Pumar got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quintana Bonal took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Prada. Patricio Prada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Claudio Pumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Claudio Pumar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Narcorc's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Pumar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Prada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Narcorc booed when SOCIEDAD DEPORTIVO QUITO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dani Garay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Pumar made a great header on Narcorc's corner, it was just that SOCIEDAD DEPORTIVO QUITO's Patricio Prada managed to reach the ball for a save. Narcorc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
