The referee ignored Cachitoma FC's protests and gave Carabalí Busvidad a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bureau Veritas booed when Cachitoma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carabalí Busvidad didn't get a good kick on the ball. Díaz Espinola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubaldo Cascos in the 5th minute of play. Sotomayor Señor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zornin Corroto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Cascos in the 16th minute of play forced Bureau Veritas's goalkeeper Díaz Espinola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zornin Corroto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotomayor Señor having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match, Ubaldo Cascos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Díaz Espinola saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Roque Sara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. 29 minutes into the game, one of Bureau Veritas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulizes Murillas got free with Díaz Espinola in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Cascos in the 37th minute of play forced Bureau Veritas's goalkeeper Díaz Espinola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Bureau Veritas got a freekick which was hit by Héctor Varez. Díaz Espinola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Cascos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes into the match, Bureau Veritas's goalkeeper Díaz Espinola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulizes Murillas. Yader Aragones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ubaldo Cascos made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Cachitoma FC's Ugaitz Camero got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 54 played minutes Bureau Veritas got a freekick which was hit by Héctor Varez. Yader Aragones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Ubaldo Cascos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Díaz Espinola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bureau Veritas's Díaz Espinola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Cascos in the 64th minute of play. In the 70th minute Ulizes Murillas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Díaz Espinola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lopez Carballal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sotomayor Señor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Bureau Veritas's goal looked a bit too open when Ulizes Murillas came free, but Díaz Espinola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Yader Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Danzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samaniego Obana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ubaldo Cascos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ubaldo Cascos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Cascos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Díaz Espinola. Bureau Veritas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ubaldo Cascos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Cachitoma FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Bureau Veritas for much of the match.
