The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferrer Vara got free with Cristian Fonelleda in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute, Ferrer Vara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Ferrer Vara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristian Fonelleda. Ferrer Vara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Ferrer Vara took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristian Fonelleda. Cristian Fonelleda dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. After a defensive mix-up in Minotauro S.C's zone, Ferrer Vara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristian Fonelleda came out of the goal and Ferrer Vara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Nestor Oviedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Audaz FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Minotauro S.C throughout the match.
