Xesus Munguia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Pumar in the 8th minute of the match. Tercero Tramontes might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José-Luis Vadillo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tercero Tramontes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 12th minute Tercero Tramontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José-Luis Vadillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José-Luis Vadillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tercero Tramontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Jacinto Espinareda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José-Luis Vadillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Espinareda in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José-Luis Vadillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tercero Tramontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. José-Luis Vadillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, León Aranzabe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Osorio Cardet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José-Luis Vadillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tercero Tramontes's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Espinareda made a kick off. Tercero Tramontes struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. José-Luis Vadillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Merced. Santiago Romarote kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Hooters FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Espinareda came free, but José-Luis Vadillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tercero Tramontes kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hooters FC's Ysmael Viejo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Tercero Tramontes could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which José-Luis Vadillo however easily saved by the left post. 71 minutes into the match, UD Merced's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Romarote came free, but Xesus Munguia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, UD Merced's Tercero Tramontes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José-Luis Vadillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Hooters FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Espinareda came free, but José-Luis Vadillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jacinto Espinareda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pascual Santa in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José-Luis Vadillo saved Hooters FC from getting behind. Tercero Tramontes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José-Luis Vadillo having to make a save.
