Tomas Mantecon spun around in front of the goal 10 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Real Madrid's goal. Xepe Villafañe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zornin Aristegui, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Maicito FC's Zornin Aristegui ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xepe Villafañe. Xepe Villafañe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Oscar Calenga kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Zeruko Cotera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Frances in the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, Real Madrid's Xepe Villafañe got control of the ball when Tomas Mantecon tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute Hugo Frances shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeruko Cotera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zornin Aristegui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xepe Villafañe was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Maicito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Madrid the free kick.
