The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zabal Olañeta came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by RomoLerouX UniteD EC F.C's Luis Barragan. But to his dismay, Luis Barragan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some careless play in the Chachacito defense, Luis Barragan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zabal Olañeta. The Chachacito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zabal Olañeta should have stopped the shot. Leo Mezcano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 13 minutes into the match. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chachacito! The referee gave RomoLerouX UniteD EC F.C a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonatan Azpiroz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chachacito's Zabal Olañeta. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Chachacito's Valdo Loayza got a free kick in the 21st minute. Carnero Corredera hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the game, Chachacito's Javier Monteagudo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 曾强誉 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 曾强誉 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdo Loayza's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Juan Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zabal Olañeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Luis Barragan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zabal Olañeta, 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luis Barragan in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zabal Olañeta saved Chachacito from getting behind. Luis Barragan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Chachacito getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Valdo Loayza hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier Monteagudo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes Chachacito's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Germano Pires who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Luis Barragan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zabal Olañeta was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Juan Arias made a precise shot to the right of Zabal Olañeta. Chachacito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. 61 minutes into the match, Chachacito's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Arias came free, but Zabal Olañeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes, Luis Barragan made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chachacito's Zabal Olañeta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 69th minute Juan Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zabal Olañeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes, Sebastian Martelo made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Chachacito's Zabal Olañeta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Martelo in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zabal Olañeta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juan Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Zabal Olañeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Martelo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zabal Olañeta was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The supporters of RomoLerouX UniteD EC F.C booed when Chachacito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Loayza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Arias took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zabal Olañeta. Zabal Olañeta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Jonatan Azpiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Javier Monteagudo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 曾强誉 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chachacito's zone, Juan Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zabal Olañeta came out of the goal and Juan Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorge Basabe's late challenge caught a Chachacito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Basabe helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Basabe kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. RomoLerouX UniteD EC F.C's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
