Cancan's Esterilla Contera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Loayza in the 6th minute of play. Esterilla Contera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Monteagudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Escarraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cancan's Esterilla Contera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Loayza in the 12th minute of play. After 23 minutes Cancan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Xian Morais who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Chachacito's Xian Morais to fire away a dangerous shot which Esterilla Contera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Roberto Escarraz took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zabal Olañeta. Zabal Olañeta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 34th minute, Roberto Escarraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roberto Escarraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zabal Olañeta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vera Ribadas in the 37th minute of play forced Chachacito's goalkeeper Zabal Olañeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Escarraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roberto Escarraz scored 2-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zabal Olañeta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zuberoa Monterrey was the one to do the kick off. When Roberto Escarraz came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Cancan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Escarraz couldn't finish the play. Zabal Olañeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xeromo Verdes in the 62nd minute of the match. Valdo Loayza's late challenge caught a Cancan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdo Loayza helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes Chachacito got a freekick which was hit by Valdo Loayza. 64 minutes into the game, Xeromo Verdes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Zabal Olañeta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Viator Varas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zabal Olañeta having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Roberto Escarraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cancan's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Escarraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zabal Olañeta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th minute, Valdo Loayza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zabal Olañeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Escarraz in the 77th minute of the match. Viator Varas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zabal Olañeta having to interfere. When Roberto Escarraz came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Cancan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Escarraz couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the match, Cancan's Vera Ribadas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zabal Olañeta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zuberoa Monterrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Cancan were the better team. Cancan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
