He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 6th minute, Giannis Iasonidis fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Angel Requena. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Blue Lightning FC's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Cagua Tezano struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Angel Requena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blue Lightning FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giannis Iasonidis in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Requena saved Pillangal from getting behind. Angel Requena made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Cagua Tezano sent off a good shot on target. Giannis Iasonidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Angel Requena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giannis Iasonidis ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Pillangal's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Iasonidis came free, but Angel Requena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giannis Iasonidis had several of the Pillangal's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 30 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Angel Requena as he didn't even see the shot coming. Giannis Iasonidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Requena having to interfere. The supporters of Blue Lightning FC booed when Pillangal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paiva Fontecilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Giannis Iasonidis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Angel Requena. The goal made the score 2-0. After 46 minutes, Enrique Yturrondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blue Lightning FC and the Pillangal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Enrique Yturrondo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giannis Iasonidis to strike the kick off in the second half. Angel Requena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Giannis Iasonidis's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Giannis Iasonidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angel Requena having to make a save. After 56 played minutes Pillangal got a freekick which was hit by Paiva Fontecilla. Pillangal's Angel Requena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Iasonidis in the 59th minute of play. Blue Lightning FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaroslaw Falkiewicz in the 61st minute. After taking down the ball on Blue Lightning FC's corner Jaroslaw Falkiewicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angel Requena quite easily take care of the ball. When Blue Lightning FC's Cagua Tezano in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pillangal's goalie prevented a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Giannis Iasonidis notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Pillangal's Angel Requena. Angel Requena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pillangal's Angel Requena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Iasonidis in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Iasonidis in the 75th minute of play forced Pillangal's goalkeeper Angel Requena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pillangal's Angel Requena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Iasonidis in the 77th minute of play. In the 78thth minute of the game Cagua Tezano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pillangal's Angel Requena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angel Requena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Iasonidis in the 81st minute of the match. Cagua Tezano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Giannis Iasonidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angel Requena was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 85th minute, Cagua Tezano made a precise shot to the right of Angel Requena. Pillangal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Jaroslaw Falkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Giannis Iasonidis came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Blue Lightning FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giannis Iasonidis couldn't finish the play. Angel Requena came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Lightning FC's Enrique Yturrondo. But to his dismay, Enrique Yturrondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Blue Lightning FC fully deserved thier win.
