Camilo Uquillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Pepito Mescua dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Duarte Azcunaga, 1-0. Victor Grandoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duarte Azcunaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pepito Mescua in the 21st minute. A collision led to Susufinde getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Pepito Mescua hit a great ball. Klimowicz Santisteban received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Teofilo Andres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Mateo Lecea could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Duarte Azcunaga however easily saved by the left post. If Pepito Mescua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Lecea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Camilo Uquillas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Susufinde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Uquillas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Grandoso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Pepito Mescua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Azcunaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Susufinde's Mateo Lecea got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Uquillas struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Duarte Azcunaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Susufinde. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Victor Grandoso put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Duarte Azcunaga. 70 minutes into the match, Susufinde's goal looked a bit too open when Klimowicz Santisteban came free, but Teofilo Andres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Deportivo Filanbanco's Omar Junco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Teofilo Andres. That made the score 2-1 after 72 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Filanbanco's Batista Ledo got a free kick in the 75th minute. Victor Grandoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duarte Azcunaga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 85th minute Victor Grandoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Azcunaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duarte Azcunaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Lecea, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Camilo Uquillas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Susufinde walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
