When Xaver Fontiveros fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hamber Club de Futbol's protests and gave Xaver Fontiveros a yellow card for diving instead. Apocalypto's Evelio Duyos got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Monterroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Margarita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Apocalypto's goal looked a bit too open when Zuhaitz Ramila came free, but Pedro Monterroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evelio Duyos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Apocalypto's goalkeeper Pedro Monterroso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Apocalypto's Pedro Monterroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuhaitz Ramila in the 34th minute of play. Manolo Margarita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pedro Monterroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evelio Duyos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Hamber Club de Futbol's Figueroa Rajo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Vela Hernainz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 64 minutes into the match. The supporters of Hamber Club de Futbol booed when Apocalypto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Machado Pintor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zuhaitz Ramila struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Pedro Monterroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hamber Club de Futbol. Pedro Monterroso made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Zuhaitz Ramila sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the game, Machado Pintor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Apocalypto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hamber Club de Futbol the free kick. After a rather tough play, Apocalypto's Machado Pintor got a free kick in the 74th minute. Urbasa Tumiraos came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Apocalypto's Alejandro Zornoza. But to his dismay, Alejandro Zornoza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 83 minutes into the match, Hamber Club de Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Zornoza came free, but Urbasa Tumiraos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hamber Club de Futbol's Manolo Margarita got a free kick in the 86th minute. Evelio Duyos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evelio Duyos took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Urbasa Tumiraos. Urbasa Tumiraos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Figueroa Rajo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Pedro Monterroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Apocalypto fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hamber Club de Futbol had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
